When you think of Japan, do you think of lush forests teeming with wildlife? I didn’t think so. The first thing that usually comes to mind is endless urban sprawls and concrete river beds. Yet, low and behold, the area I live in contains massive forests. And you’d be surprised at the local fauna you’ll find.
Let’s take this snake for example. It just happened to be slithering around the schoolyard. I have also seen huge eagles, deer, bears and 4 inch long insects. Japan continues to surprise.
