The beginning of the end

It’s thursday. What does this mean to me? Well, on Saturday I’m leaving on a plane that will take me to Japan. How about that! Japan. Yes, the time has come. the preparations have been made. There is nothing to stop me now. My adventure is about to begin. I want to thank everyone for their support and their friendship. I will miss everyone a great deal. I’ve had some of the best fun I’ll ever have here in Edmonton, and it’s been a real blast. I didn’t think I would be a sad as I was to be leaving you all, given that back in september, all I want to do was run from this place. But somehow you all made Edmonton a very warm and loving place, and I thank you all for it. However, I have no regrets. I’ve made my time, and now it’s my turn to get out there and make a name for myself. I will write, send back pictures and have people sign the book of memories that Rhonda and Sylvia gave me. This will be my last blog entry until I hit Japan, so in someways it’s the end, in another, it’s time for you all to see what this blog was designed for in the first place. A record of my life in Japan and beyond. Take care everyone. I wlll miss you.

Goodbyes

I had an awesome going away party. It was full of fun and friends. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. I also bought a new digital camera today for picture taking goodness. For me it’s a great chance to get some pictures of edmonton to show my students. I’m really looking forward to it now. Time to Japan: 7 days. It’s coming.
